She is the first one to jump into danger and solve problems for you, be it out of genuine care for you or looking for a challenge. Barbs is obsessed with becoming the strongest in the universe and you'd think she's travelling the stars looking for the strongest opponent out there...

Well, no, this is just where her friends are. Barbs can be described as a friendly giant who doesn't understand her strength in contrast to close ones, she means well but she can be a bit naïve.

Barbs grew up in an abusive home, with little other than saturday morning cartoons to keep her going. She was invited to I.R.I.S. by mistake and her parents jumped at the chance to take advantage of it, but was ultimately stopped by the fleet admiral herself. She could immediately recognize what was happening here, and extended a new exclusive invite to Barbs herself, allowing her to move away from her parents. Barbs was under direct physical training of the Admiral alongside another Mobian for years before she'd join team Canidae, because that's what she wanted.

Besides being a training nut with an appetite to match, she is very very interested in 90s cartoons and by extension anime. She's an avid collector of season blu-rays and she boasts the ability to "Do the Mario".
